Well Dexter had failed to notice the massive reality shift caused by Deedee becoming his new mom, as a result it caused Dexter to become Female as well as age up multiple times over the course of multiple days, eventually she did rejuvenate to 35 the same age as Deedee was. As the two now live together as twin sisters rather than an older younger sister relationship. Dextra now doubles as a scientist and a ballerina thanks to her twin sister who she loves dearly.
