Description
Was I the only one ticked off that Dee Dee was hardly shown in the movie Ego Trip?! To remedy this travesty I decided to draw her myself.As my sister would say, puberty was kind to Dee Dee. XD
Anyway I tried to keep in design with the film by following the formulae used for Dex and Mandark and the other characters in the movie.
There's the original version (obviously), then the future version (which has a similar face but different body type), then the apocalyptic version (if Dexter gets to be buff and manly Dee Dee gets to be hot), and then the elderly version. XD And where Dexter's symbol is the wrench and Mandark's is an M, Dee Dee's is a heart.I think I overthought this.

You are not alone with the ending. It always pisses me off how Dee Dee comes out of nowhere after screwing off to god knows where and she saves the future. If we actually saw what she was doing while Dexter was meeting with his older selves, maybe it would be somewhat forgivable. The rest of the special is still awesome, but that ending is such a cop out.

She wasn't "screwing off". She went into the time machine and came out during the fight between the Dexters and Mandarks. That's why it's funny- Dexter told her to get lost, she did, and ended up being the real hero! π

I thought the ending was actually perfect, of course Dee Dee would beat Dexter to the button- I just wanted to see where she went on the way!

That's fair. I also thought Dee-Dee would be the one to save the future going into Ego Trip for the first time. I also was thinking they'd show what she was doing while Dexter met his older selves. But from the way it turned out, I felt like it really was building up to be Dexter's moment.

Dee Dee grew into a babe, and then a hilarious looking old lady. I love this and I can almost picture scenes in Ego Trip with your designs being used. I hope you do more Ego Trip drawings in the future!!
