Over the past few days I've been working on some model sheets for a Dexter's Lab project that will probably never see the light of day, but which I am preparing for just in case. Anyway, it is always good to practice different poses and who better to practice with than Dee Dee, right?

I designed this version of Dee Dee as the one from the apocalyptic future in Ego Trip, where Mandark is the evil overlord who has oppressed the people of the world! This segment of the movie is very dramatic and heroic, and Dexter and Mandark are almost unrecognizable from their childhood selves, something I tried to mirror with Dee Dee. When I did Dee Dee's designs I wanted viewers to be able to tell a lot about her stage of life by her legs, since that is probably her most characteristic feature. So even in her adult form, I made sure her legs were a mile long (here they are very curvy and athletic, since she is almost a superhero status), compared with a very tiny body, just like when she was a kid!

I've done model sheets of my other versions of "Ego Trip" Dee Dee, mostly trying to streamline and simplify things, and increase the stylization since I've improved a lot in the DL art style since I first did the designs in 2011. ^_^ Be sure to check out my gallery!
