"Seljalandfoss Sun" - Iceland


A striking sunset seen from behind the mighty Seljalandfoss waterfall illuminating the falling water and the cave. It was a great and refreshing feeling standing there at sunset after a long day of traveling from Leipzig to Berlin to Reykjavik and then after getting the rental car and driving several hours along the south coast to the waterfall and being lucky with the weather just felt great. What a nice start and first evening of our trip!

I'm always in awe when seeing a superb capture like this because I know it takes patience, planning and perfect timing,....and cautionΒ Β Β  last time a tried a similar shot I got water on my lens

Thanks a lot! And yes, I also know this problem very well. I was standing there with two camera bodies and wide angle lenses and tried hard to get at least one shot without water spray on one of the lenses...
