This is a pencil sketch that I inked in Adobe Illustrator CS6 and painted in Photoshop CS6.

This is an illustration of the character, “Vivian” from the game, “Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door” for Nintendo Gamecube. I am going to be using this illustration as part of a larger composition I’m working on, with her and Mario from a scene from the game. She definitely stood out as one of the greatest partners that Mario had in that game, so I wanted to do a piece featuring her.

I did my best to recreate the font used in the title of the game cover! I couldn’t track down a downloadable version that was accurate, so I just drew it by hand. The font on the bottom text is a font I downloaded, that is a super close representation of the actual font from the game, known as “Pop Joy”.

When ever you gain a partner in this game, a ten sided star with a dotted background appears behind the character, so I included that as a design element for this piece as well. I’ll be posting the larger composition I’m working on with her and Mario in the near future!
