By far my favorite piece completed for my watercolor class. The tail was extremely rushed. I had been working on the overall painting and body of the mermaid that I by the time I realized she didn't have a tail I had maybe seconds before I had to turn it in, so I did the best I could. Wish I could have done a little more, but overall pretty happy with the end result. Feels good to complete my own original work!!Related content

Hey thanks!! I actually wanted to ad some waves crashing against the rock she's on, but I decided against it because I thought it would detract from the pic as a whole. Well, that and I ran out of time. Anyway, glad you like it!!

Hey thanks man. I started the drawing at the Art Center, and only just finally got around to doing something with it. Hopefully I can do a few more like this. Was thinking about doing a male one as a sequel.
