Description
Here is another piece I worked on back in 2010 with a group of talented people.Jumpgate Evolution was a sexy yet an unfortunate project that I was a part of. I'm just happy that I got to work with an artist likeΒ Brian Edward Miller.

This is seriously wicked. What's it like to work as a professional illustrator? Do you freelance or are you tied to any design firm?

Thanks! I thought I wrote a reply here before. This is so weird. It was more of a surreal blur at first but I quickly escalated into higher position with some skills but mostly passion. I was definitely known for my passion. I've been full time for eight years now. I only do freelance when I'm approached with a good project. Game Hive is where I work now.Β

Really cool. I have no educational background in art. I just do it mainly for passion. Usually, I get some tips and tricks from different websites offering tutorials or books that I read in bookstores while waiting for my family to finish their shopping. Only recently when I got serious in digital art, I had thought about the prospect of money because I was planning to invest in a new Cintiq. So I thought it would be really cool to work as a professional illustrator.
Currently, I've went around snooping for work, and somehow by great chance someone wants to hire me as a third-party subcontractor to provide concept art for a company. It's an onlne job. I was just wondering how it would be as I've not started work yet.

That's great to hear! Congrats! I would love to see some works from that project when you can showcase them
A new cintiq sounds fancy! I hope you get it soon

Thanks! Mind I ask, as of now, do you use a screen-based tablet or normal tablet?

Both for different purposes but mostly Cintiq at work

I just can't seem to get that accuracy when placing lines for a normal tablet

True story. I use tablet for rough layouts and thumbnails for that reason!
