If they keep the same writers and cast, the change in animation might not be so bad.

Funny you mention the CW PPG. I can already picture the opening monologue of each episode from the girls; something that calls back to the original series to entice fans in, but then flips it on it's head to be "different":

"Sugar, spice, and everything nice. This were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect little girls."

"But our father accidentally added an extra ingredient to the concoction, Chemical X."

"Thus, we were born; the Powerpuff Girls."

"For years we dedicated our lives to fighting crime and the forces of evil."

"But that was a long time ago, and we've grown up. Our childhoods lost, our innocence gone, but we still carry on."

"Cause if we don't save the day, who will?"

"We, are the Powerpuff Girls!"

I wouldn't say so.

S25 is supposed to be continuing on from S24, yet it's so drastically different that it probably should've been a full on reboot.

I liked BWBA as it didn't really change too much in the grand scheme of things, but this is borderline unrecognisable.

Whereas the idea behind the CW PPG is stupid sure, but all we have for that right now is a rumour, nothing else.

Granted it likely won't be good, given that all their female lead shows are handled by wokes who prioritise representation over story and characters, like what the 2016 reboot did.
