Bio
Eugene, better known by his alias of "Diesel", is a student at Sodor Community College and is the self-proclaimed ring leader of the school's most disreputable house group, Smelters. He always likes to show others that he's the toughest one there is and his antics caused others to get behind him, which ultimately lead to the Smelters House gaining it's bad reputation.
Diesel is oily, malicious, devious, scheming and full of ideas to try and mess with those he sees as beneath him. Due to the poor condition of the Smelters block of the school, the students often struggle with everyday life there, but Diesel believes that automatically makes him and his fellow Smelters better then everyone else; the rough environment toughens them up, something he uses as an excuse for bullying the other students.
Diesel likes to think of himself as a womaniser; while his first relationship with Mavis Drewry didn't end well, he later found a more "active" partner in Daisy Cammell. The two dated for a while up until the failed takeover of the school at the hands of Alexander "Diesel 10" Windsor, in which Daisy vocally dumped him before being sent away for the summer. Despite his current lack of a girlfriend, he still brags to the others about how he's "done it" before any of them, though nobody believes this.
However, Diesel has been known on occasion to show that he wants to be really useful and does secretly have a sincere side to him. While he's still on her bad side, he does still care for Daisy and did indeed cherish the times they spent together, as was evident after he accidentally sent her to the hospital after a playful smack and he only spilled out his feelings to her when he thought she was asleep.
Diesel is, at his core, a troublemaker and a bully. He's made a lot of enemies and has influenced many others to follow in his devious footsteps. Occasionally he can show some semblance of decency, but he almost of not always keeps it to himself, which is easily his biggest hindrance to being accepted by the other students of SCC.

I like your discription of Diesel, but I have a question for you. What do think of Diesel and do you think that he is written in the show well. In the RWS Diesel really didn't hate steam engines, he just thought diesel engines were better and was bit of a snob about it. In a RWS story called "Thomas and the Evil Diesel", Diesel actually did good and was liked by the other engines at the end. So ask you, what do you think of Diesel, and do you think he should keep being written as an antagonist or should he turn a new leaf and be good?

I liked him for what he was in the Classic Era, despite the similarities to advancing real world industrialism at the time. He was just never favourite of mine as he was sometimes portrayed a little to close to home as a bully for me.
But in the current series, I like him a lot; he's the kind of villain I can't help but love. He reminds me a lot of Loki from the MCU; he acts silly, nothing goes his way, he's constantly outwitted and his motivations may be the weakest of any antagonist: he just wants attention. Which in of itself is quite a relatable motivation; something that ties to our inner troublemaker.

I thought so. Now we just need to come up with a way to write that into the story.
