Description
Man, this took me the whole afternoon, to set up materials, the whole scene, with at least twenty pre-renders. But I think it was worthy of the time I sacrificed for itDone in V-Ray, of course, with some V-Ray specific materials. Gotta love this method

Nah, I just think of the best films having the refit before Enterprise A came along

Thank you very much!
VRay is a rendering engine, using special materials, lights and shades. You render it from inside MAX like if you are doing a "normal" rendering process.

Build one! It is easy to build, grab a 1701 model, paint it gold you can build the rest out of wood. I did something similar to my Polar Lights TOS 1701, but the ship was of accurate colours

i have the polar lights one, too. she's huge! i'm gonna make her the 1701 version. my friend Patrick is gonna make the "A" version. finding models of that ship is not exactly easy.

I have the PL 1701 refit. She's one big chunk of plastic Her painting is sloppy but that's my fauld. I did a better job on my third (yes, third) NX-01, though. LOL

i never had an NX-01. i have too many other models to finish though. i won't let myself give my Enterprise a sloppy paint job... neither will my dad i was told about a website that sells custom decals for Starships. i was thinking of getting a Connie refit, and calling her NOONVALE

I see! Yes, it would be a nice name for a nice ship. Mine would probably called the Elizabethtown, the Anglicized version of my place, PesterzsΓ©bet, actually a district of Budapest.

that also suits nicely. i presume it would be the original connie?

Original or Refit, but she needs to be a Connie

What console is that model sitting on, and what ship's bridge is that console from? Great render, always nice to see the 1701/A in gold
