You look at that shit-bash they call a "starship" and that's the first thing you notice?

What about the bussard collectors? And don't mention the Riker manuver, the collectors were merely the magazine in that move.

With the many Bussards on that ship, it simply blinds the enemy

Have a question...when you finish a model and then see something you wanna change or tweak, does it upset you? Or do you prefer doing the extra work so the model is perfect?

It doesn't upset me, knowing that nothing ever made by mortal man can be perfect. But one can try and make his stuff better and better.

I always wonder about the floor plans. If I change this on the exterior, how will it affect the floor plan? Like say slanting a hull wall on a starship bridge...will that now prevent the turbolift from coming up to the bridge? Will I have to move that inward more? Will that move or cut into the Captain's ready room?
I guess I over analyze things. haha!
Thanks for sharing!

Ooo, I see the bridge dome changes, they seem slight but it feels an improvement.
Have you considered trying to design the bridge itself? I realise that would be an incredibly complicated mesh.
I'm curious to see how the Polaris, TMP in this case, variates from other Starfleet vessels internally.

I have mental plans for the TMP polaris bridge layout, it's more similar to the Reliant than the Enterprise, but with two turboshafts and a single front console for Lt. JimΓ©nez (Vasya's tac console is in its traditional TMP inset place).

I can see that. What are we up to, revision 25? Still, a well-lit mesh always looks good somehow.

Thats either a very big bridge or a single deck saucer.

It's a traditional TMP bridge.

SeeJay530 In reply to davemetlesits [2010-06-10 09:40:54 +0000 UTC]
then if you look at the scale of it your saucer is only one level thick.
