Description In a weird moment, I decided to build the bridge of the Polaris. It's my most complex model yet, consisting of more than nine hundred parts.

As you can see, the bridge is more similar to the Pike are bridge than the Kirk era one. Don't forget that the Polaris is an old ship, built decades before the Enterprise.

Every station is fully utilitarian, nothing is configured for an overall specific function. Don't forget, a battleship might get a blown-up console or two.

I based the colour schemes and the shape of some objects on the episode "The Cage".

Why "Battleship Class" that seems unoriginal.

Because according to the TOS nomenclature, heavy and medium cruisers were named "Starship Class", like as seen on the TOS Enterprise's dedication plaque. Light cruisers and tactical cruisers were called "Battlecruiser class".

See here for my classification chart:

Cool pix, Dave. But I noticed that the Polaris' dedication plaque is in an unusual place near the main viewer. Generally, most Federation starships have theirs on the wall near the main turbo-lift.

And a late happy birthday to Leonard Simon Nimoy

Thank you!

I wanted the plaque to be at a more visible place.

Sheer coolness but where does the forward doors go to?

I'm quite familiar with the configuration of the exterior, so where do they go to?

The forward door goes to the much-requested toilet.

Ah. So the Polaris has a head on the bridge. Just like the Enterprise D.

You did an amazing job on this. Interiors are tough, mainly because of proportions. I would like to see a shot of the bridge as seen from outside the ship. Looking in through the top, maybe.

Excellent job.

Thank you very much.

I'll do a top image, removing the ceiling to get a clear shot.
