shouldn't the second set of numbers have three digits like the first (I'm assuming those are what you use to set a heading, if so, you use a 360 degree circle aligned with the ship's horizontal and a second one aligned with the ships vertical to make a heading)

The heading numbers are the following:
XXX mark XX
Like Kirk always says: Mr. Sulu, bearing 123 mark 45.

oh wait I got heading confused with bearing. Bearing is what I described above. I stand corrected.

...so your giving us the info to try (and fail) to take over the Polaris?

If you can reach the bridge, you won't have a ship to take over because everything would be in ruins. We don't just let our ship go to enemy hands that easy.

Also, the bridge crew is very messy, and leave their stuff everywhere...

Wow! Yours looks awesome!
I used the Tech Manual and reference photos as well as 3D images on the Enterprise bridge.

Ok. I know you said you were trying to make it look differant, and "older". So wasn't sure if you used differant resorces. Looks good...And thanks.

Hate to mention this but a warp celestial guidance unit looks the same on every ship.

Even on old First Fleet ships?

even on old first fleet ships. It was still a new device when kirk took over the big E, previously ships had to drop out of warp to change course.

What, you use that thing to navigate at Warp speed? I thought it's a sort of steering wheel for manual impulse manouvers and stuff like that.

Nice work. I like the astrogator unit. All of these actually make sense; they're not confusing in the least.

I wanted to rationalize the thing and also give it a different look from the Enterprise's machines, due to the Polaris being an older ship and a light battlecruiser.

Thanks for the fave!
Good idea to rationalize it; do you have any for TNG?
