It WAS a long 18 months!
In the upper left, is that an early Miranda-class?

You are seriously getting better all the time, can you re-do your first star trek image so we can see how greatly you have progressed?

Thank you!
My first Trek image? It was the Ent-E as she appeared at the beginning of ST:FC... I might do that one again...

I imagine ships as old as the Bonaventure would be kept on as in-system support ships or something of the like, well past their commissioned life.

Yeah, if the ship is in working condition, why should she be decommissioned?

I love those "old" ships milling around! Great job as always. I really like the concept that the Enterprise is still one of the newest, most advanced ships around, even before the refit.
I always hoped to see one of the TNG/movie era ships run into an old Deadelous (sp) floating adrift and beat up, but alas we never got to really see one on screen. Heh, maybe the new movie will have one, ya' never know.
Anyhow, you've put together a fantastic, interesting image that seems to have more going on the longer I look at it.

is something wrong with my eyes? you credit 2 Bonaventures but i can see only 1. in the upper right corner. anyway, isn't the Bonaventure a predecessor of the Constitution-Class? i might be wrong but i think to remember that the Bonaventure has been completely decommissioned in the 2250s. at least i read that somewhere on a fanfiction-page, long ago. oh, and when i remember correct the name of the cargo-ship is Huron-Class.

The ship in the bottom left corner is also called Bonaventure, hence the naming Bonaventure #1 and #2...

I like the ship on the lower left. Looks like the NX-01, only the way it should have looked.

That is the most awesome thing i ever saw in my intired life as a trekkie, I sure wish that this shot was in the teaser trailer of star trek the motion picture instead of that boring teaser trailer so in closing i would like to say excellent 3-D of Refit time dave.

It would of been longer, if a former NASA probe decided to make a trip home...
