In a way, you are right. Ski Mode was unique to KR, the General Lee did Turbo Boosts before Kitt...

KITT was cooler though, because it could Turbo Boost without a ramp...and the General Lee usually used some hump of dirt.
Ski Mode just looks cooler...and I can't imagine how many times I've wished that my car could do Ski Mode!!
