The Klingon-Romulan Alliance...deadly for the Federation

Sure sucks for the Enterprise huh? Two enemies share the best of their technology to build powerful fleets.

But they lack the tough-ball-ness of Kirk, the logic of Spock and the wit of McCoy

Perfect pic and angles Dave. And that one ship can take down those other two without any trouble

After seeing the dogbarf from Paramount this week, this is what Star Trek should be!!!!

Nice angle, yeah. Could well be from one of the remastered TOS episodes. Did you add some extra grain as well, or is that down to my tired eyes?

Thank you!
I usually add some grain not to make the pic look too "sterile"...

Gorgeous as always, bro!! Breathtaking, really; I like the TMP-style camera angle with the TOS ships - just goes to show that those designs would totally hold up on the big screen.

Thank you.
Yeah, Prologic9's mesh added some "industrial" detail to the lady...

Yeah, it's awesome!! Any chance you could simply upload some "detail" shots of the model?

It's not "that' detailed. Basically, it's just texturing. The overall mesh is smooth a la Matt Jeffries. Macro-style shots would reveal this.

Matt Jeffries put a lot of minute details into the design that would really pop out on the big screen - we just never saw them on TV.
Did you know that there are access doors with signs on them below the primary hull?

Yeak, I saw the doors. One of them read "Do not read this sign" lol
Saw the pics on one of the modelist websites...

That's what the sign said after the 1992 restoration at the Smithsonian; originally the sign said something along the lines of "System Vent Access Door" or something; I don't remember off the top of my head, although I have the picture on my other computer. They've since taken off the sign; last time I was there to see it (I live somewhat close to Washington D.C.), I didn't see it on the model.
