I know that, I meant I hope the wormhole created that first instance wasn't permanent, or was it destroyed with the torpedo detonation on the asteroid?

I think it collapsed in the explosion.

This is what happens when a starship's new warp drive engines aren't properly calibrated.

Awesome, reference to the ST:TMP scene? If so, it looks way better than my version of the scene

Thank you. Yes, it is based upon the TMP scene.

This looks sweet!

I just watched "Star Trek VI" last night. I forgot how good that one was compared to the others original 5.
Anyway, I watched it with the RiffTrax comentary and nearly passed out laughing at least twice.

Have you ever watched "Mystery Science Theater 3000"? (It's an American TV show where some guys on a spaceship watch an old classic sci-fi movie and make jokes about it while we watch.)
If you enjoyed watching that show, you need to see a RiffTrax film. It's the same actors/comedians/writers from the other show, but they use newer films like Transformers, Jurassic Park, 300, The Matrix, and others.

Just wanted to throw this out to you. You may get a good laugh out of it.

Keep up the awesome artwork!

Cue part of the first ST soundtrack. Dunno, that cloud kinda reminds me of V-Ger, but it's just me. Damn good Enterprise design.

Thank you. The scene is based upon the scene in TMP when they first try to go to Warp.
