Disclaimer: Darkseid is owned by DC comics, this is just fan art.I really just wanted to draw him because of the cracks in his face...
Darkseid's armor is so boring though >_< I had to add some stuff just to make it bearable to shade.

I did all the detail by hand, actually... it was fun ;D At one point I was a little tempted to use a rock texture on him, but I decided not to.

Actually the armor was the most challenging part, but only because it's so boring that I couldn't make myself shade it x[ whoever originally designed him must have been short on time...

His planet is called Apokolips (lame, I know) but it has giant flame pits dotting the surface apparently... but some of the concept art shows them as mini-volcanoes, so that's what I tried to make xP
