Description
This is a custom set of 1984 Eastman and Laird's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures, Based on the 80's comic book.Back when they all wore red bandanas, and had a thirst for blood.
I wanted a set of Turtles I could display next to my Marvel Legends, and my DC Selects, that wouldn't look gay. The NECA Turtles are outta scale with other figures and to stylized.
So I made some of my own, using my extra set of movie star turtles I gave them a more realistic and gritty paint job.
I think they came out pretty bad ass.

These figures are like super rubbery as apposed to your typical hard plastic if I'm not mistaken? If so then I have 1 of these bad boys, it's a Michaelangelo, but he's little beat up,.. I might do something similar, white out the eyes, and do a stylized end piece to the mask for mine as his broke... nice work

Dude, I wish I had some "extra" movie star Turtles. I never got them when they came out. Only Super Shredder. Your rendition looks great. I don't care for NECA figures.

I think I heard they might rerelease them, so you might be in luck.

I heard that, too. I hope. Maybe when the new movie comes out they'll release them again.

Wow! Those look really great. You definitely nailed 'badass', no worries there.
