You know what really urks my squid? The total lack of Star Fox merchandise! There has been some cool stuff, but its like impossible to get your hands on it. I'm sick of it! I want figures, plushes, clothes and accessories, and most importantly A NEW GAME!Just a quick custom figure of Fox, I made for an action figure film. I just custom painted an army man's body, made the head outta sculpy clay, and the tail outta cotton.
Fox is property of nintendo.... not that they care.

Man, I am totally tempted to try this with one of my GI Joes now. I doubt it would turn out as good, though. This is very cool.

I hear you! I'm totally working over an Iron Man figurine to make my own articulated Fox McCloud figurine. I should probably post my WIP for it and make molds so it can be marketed. And another game would be more than nice! Wow, how rude of me... good use of existing figures to make your own model. It's pretty good except the head seems a bit small since he's supposed to be cartoony.

it's not impossible to get your hands on StarFox stuff, but you have to have some financial padding (not tons and tons mind you), patience, and know where to look and when.
either way, they did have a Fox action figure a while back, but it was canned for whatever reason--there's only one of them in the entire world currently.

Word, I've seen the action figure promos for SF Adventures, and SF 64.
I've also seen the plushes from SF SNES. I coolest fox stuff I've ever gotten my hands on would have to be the SF Adventures Bobble Head, and The SF Command pins.
I just want to be able to walk into a Game Stop and pick up some cool Fox stuff, is that to much to ask?

given Nintendo's treatment of the Star Fox franchise, Miyamoto saying the series is a disappointment, and that he's not particularly held to it like he is his other series, yeah, that's a lot to ask...sadly.
I think Miyamoto's problem is that Star Fox is uniquely American+British--he came up with concepts of the series, but I have a feeling Argonaut heavily influenced the game and the direction it took.....also, to date, it's the only series I know of that has a more serious timeline that progresses ever further into the future (each game has a stated elapsed time...which puts ever advancing ages on the characters)...which presents obvious problems for the series.
Either way, I love the series to death, but I'm almost to the point I'd rather see it end or just slowly fade into the dust (ie: not releasing a new game) than continue on its current path.

Excellent work. And you're right about having hardly anything based on Starfox. There's plenty of stuff for Mario, Kirby, Link and Pokemon but haydly anything on Starfox. Nintendo, get with the program.
