People judge these days easily.
I use both Windows and Linux, precisely Windows 7 and Lubuntu. And I have no problems to use them both. They're equal to me.

It is, in fact. I can't really understand why many people automatically assume one is a windows hater just because they use linux. Mainly gamers say that, since they think windows is so darn good that you'd need to, at least, hate it to use something else! Believe me, there are people who think this way!

Agreed. personally, I like Windows just because I know where I'm at with them. I accept the advantages of iMacs, but the fact that they are, in my eyes, overpriced, makes me stay with Windows, but with better compactability, easier startups, better virus protection and better starting software, I can see why people would want iMacs over other PCs.

that's true, macs are really overpriced ( especially with the crazyarse brazilian taxes on imported products ), although I really enjoy using mac products ( my uncle is a macmaniac and I use all of his mac stuff ). I have been a linux user since 2008 and I've never wanted to come back to Windows, not because I hate it but because I don't seem to have any reason to use it ( and pay for it as well ), I can do anything I want on linux for free and I really enjoy the way it's organized and its compatibility with older machines.

My reasons for using Windows are admittedly cowardly - it's because I simply know where I'm at with Windows, but at this time, I see no point in changing to Linux for me, unless I get a new PC, in which I will look into Linux, as it could save me a fair bit of money with potentially no drawbacks. Oh, and a hugely belated Happy New Year to you, haha!
