I totally agree with you here, David-c2011. I mean, it's bad enough that Disney de-canonized the entire expanded universe, thus erasing decades' worth of continuity, characterization, and change from existence, but now they're going out of their way to pander to the more rabid members of the series' fandom (something which is a big no-no in any medium.)

(Not so) fun facts: Most disney movies have a series of subliminal messages. Examples are the secret $€x messages in Frozen, The Lion King I, ect. And in front of the palace in The Little Mermaid, there is a Golden p***$ just for everyone to see. I did not make that up. Look up "disney dark secrets", "disney subliminal messages", or "disney dirty messages"... *gets trampled by an army of angry disney fans because of that*

1 they never did something good
2 they take credit for orther people's work
3 they completly corrupted pixar
4 pixar was a proto ligthandmagic made by lucas, mavel produced most of the starwars comics, yoda and kemit are literaly brothers
5 gargoyles(see point 2) had the hole cast of star treck tng
6 muppet were bougth in 2004, the good stuff was before
and of course maybe i should mention that actually only dc and joss whedon can do a decent musical commedy... something disney never could
