May/Haruka is another one of my top favorite Pokemon characters ever since I was a kid and so I drew a fanart of May/Haruka but in genie formThis is my first fanart of May so tell me how you like it

I like the fog affect in the background. I like the background as well with the little sparkles. The bow, bracelets, and design on the shirt are examples of really good detail! The big earrings remind me of princess Jasmine and she's one of my favorites! The hair is adorable too. Pretty much what i'm trying to say is that this drawing is the BEST! The eyes are cute too they remind me of anime. The mouth is cute too with the little tooth. What else? Aha! The necklace is cute too... also detail! Wow i'm all about this detail! First off it's a creative idea that I never seen of before. Interesting design and expression chosen. The smoke effect is pretty good, as you have it thicker at the bottom where it is coming from the lamp and thins out near the top of the picture.
You should look at anatomy a bit more, I can see that it is a pokemon style picture but there are a few things off. The arms a a bit short, the left arm is noticbly shorter then the one on the right. Typically when you stand your finger tips reach just past your thighs when you have your arms at your sides. The neck is a bit too long as well, at first glance it isn't noticeabl, but if you imagine the collar being off it is quite long.
The pose and expression are great, nothing to be said about that, just keep in mind of what I said about anatomy.
Your lines could be a bit neater, as I can see certain lines crossing where they should not be, the lamp and parts of the hair have this issue. The rest of the lineart is fairly clean, noticeably on her genie tail(if that's what it's called?) You should also consider having different line thickness/weight instead of the lines all being the same size.
As for colours, try to shade less with white and blacks, maybe look up on colour theory a bit. But focus on your drawings first before you get into the whole colour theory thing ((It gets pretty complex even for me))
Sorry if it sounds harsh but in my critiques I usually focus on what could be improved and try my best to help. It is a good drawing, but I can't exactly fill the critique with positive only comments. ^^
Just work on what I said and you will see a drastic improvement!
