Hey David!

 

I love your stuff. It’s so nice to be a part of this community so i can learn to be a better artist.

I have tested on of yore tutorials on YouTube. (Wings 3D project - icosahedron twisted loop ) And I have one problem. I have done it over and over again but same problem. It’s in the last stage of the build and it’s the last thing to do “select then reverse “but nothing happens? I have done a screen film so you can see. I would be very happy if you cud do some input if you see the problem. Best regard Lars Wannberg/Rebirth303 A newcomer to 3d art.

Hi,

Looking at the geometry graph it does not look like the loop cut was performed.  I'll check in again later after work if that doesn't help.

I think i solved it... It was the Loop cut. Thanks fore the help. You Rock dud.

It would be interesting to turn it into a real thing.  But I'm sure there are many of these things that have already been printed.

Yeah, there is a user on this site that has printed a few that are the same idea, But started off in Mandelbulber 3d. I liked this one because of the apparent smoothness and sheen on it, Not sure if that could be replicated though.

The wonders of Octanes SSS.  It is very simple really.  Octane does all the work.
