one more thing i realized about this pic, tetsuko looks goth here, and i like goths to a certain extent.

Now joining three arguments simultaneously:
(1) I think Tetsuko should generally be the main character in these cosplays. Since, you know, it's called TCC and not SCC.
(2) I prefer Tet-chan in blonde.
(3) I agree that this pic might be better if Sonya weren't wearing glasses. That's actually a bizarre quirk I've only just noticed; although there are pictures of Sonya wearing almost nothing else, she always keeps her glasses on. Hence the "Stumped" emote attached to this post.

Three responses, then:
(1) Tetsuko generally is the only character in these pics; in 38 pics (so far) Sonya's only appeared in 8, and only once by herself. I usually don't put Sonya in a pic unless the character Tetsuko is cosplaying is associated with a partner/best friend/sidekick/whatever (Ginger and Mary Ann, Daphne and Velma, Xena and Gabrielle, etc.)
(2) So do I! But if she's cosplaying a brunette/redhead/whatever, out comes the hair dye...
(3) Sonya's glasses are merely a visual "marker", if you will, of the fact that it is Sonya dressed as a particular character, and not simply a big-breasted version of that character. (Just as Tetstuko's "rooster-tail" forelock shows it's Tetsuko cosplaying a character, not a buffed-up version of the character.) But it could be argued that the heart-shaped birthmark on Sonya's cheek - not to mention her other, um, "outstanding attributes" - already serve as sufficient marker, so you may have a point there. (Maybe she's trying to cater to the meganekko fans?)

How about doing the opposite ? Tetsuko with blonde short hair as Gabrielle with huge muscles and Sonya as Xena ? Renee O'Connor did have more muscle I think.

Tetsuko's curves are a lot more apparent in this action pose; her muscles don't compromise her feminine look this time. And the hair coming down... wow. Looks great in black. And T-chan carries the costume well. She rocks black leather and gold!
Sonya looks okie-doke as Gabrielle but... two words, Doctor? Contact lenses.

Wow! This amazing! I remember this show from when I was little and my mother used to watch it on USA. Obliously, Tet-chan had to be Xena! Can't think of anyone else suited for the costume!
