Yeah, I don't remember Kirby crackle being involved in the warp effect either, but I really wanted to see what it would look like.Drawing this Enterprise took forever, and I gave up on the aztec plating.

Don't worry about the aztec plating. Unless they were doing a real close-up view, the comics rarely did it either.

Oh, I know... it still bothers me that I didn't do it! Really just because I was going for painstaking accuracy and detail but just couldn't wrap my mind around the plating.
