The effects were good enough as they were. The only thing I think that would have been different was the space battle scenes...but Matt Jeffries would never have designed something as ugly as that ship.

Dude, tell me something: do you know how many hours MKF worked hard to design this "ugly' ship as you say? I was watching the WIP threads as were many others. I saw how many days MKF was spending just to make the impulse engines look decent. And that was just a smll part of the whole design. So show some respect, understood?

That was my point. Nobody made him waste his time, it was his own decision. He wasn't forced to make this, so if I don't like it I'm perfectly entitled to say so.
