Description
The Kodkod is a small wild cat that can be found in southern Chile and Argentina. In Dutch they are called "night cat" (which fits this painting pretty well I guess ), but it seems they are equally active during night and day - although they only venture into open terrain in the darkness.

For this painting I was inspired by BeckyKidus ' SeldomSeenSpeciesSunday, which is a great initiative to give the lesser known animals a bit more love and attention! Thank you for doing this!!! ^^
