Finally had a chance to try out my new Ara acrylic paints on a bigger painting Decided to paint a jaguar portrait this time - it's always fun to paint animal portraits!

I first wanted to go for a black background here, but in the end I turned that into a subtle starry background for a bit more depth. By the way, I haven't used black - it's al brown 'n blue xD (burnt umber and phtalo blue) This painting will be placed right next to the King's Pride lion portrait which you may have seen earlier (www.deviantart.com/daviddeklee… )
