… And so Johnny B Cheeser's own version of 'Hot Dog!' is coined. What? Do you think it was going to be one of his squeaks? Or his bruxing?
I made two improvements to my tools: Switched to a hard felt tip on my tablet pen, gave me a lot more control. And then I got a new vertical mouse that my hand wraps around better and the buttons are less prone to false double-clicking.
I'm still working on improving my pacing for these strips. Some people suggest an if-then system of time management, while I might convert that into a set of bullet lists bracketed by day and time. Eventually I'll get it to work.

"And so Johnny B Cheeser's own version of 'Hot Dog!' is coined."
KK's question has me a bit curious: What exactly is Johnny's catch phrase, here?

Well, he wanted to have a catchy way to introduce himself, and to poke a little humor into what got him to this place. Most of the people who heard it wouldn't know the full details behind the goo that he fell into, and some would think that he was from a lab that somehow grew mice to his size.
I got it from an ooooold phrase in a long forgotten fanfict I wrote with someone else, I forgot almost all of the details save for that line. (Good for me.)

We seem to be talking about two different things here. I think, by your saying "And so Johnny B Cheeser's own version of 'Hot Dog!' is coined", I'm looking for something more like KK's description -- you've mentioned that Johnny now has a similar phrase; his own version of 'hot dog!' as it were -- and I'm just not seeing it.
By your latest reply, it sounds like you wanted to say he provided an introduction; something that is significantly more lengthy than your initial claim; that's fine, I'm just really trying to come to grips with the language presented not seeming to line up with what's on the strip itself.

I could also see this line more like a good ending to the chapter, but not as his catchphrase.

Catchphrases usually develop as the character develops. For example, in "Batman", Robin's catchphrases of "Holy...!" happens when they are in a situation, for example if they are dealing with Catwoman, Robin will probably say, "Holy Catnip, Batman!" So at this point, don't "force" a catchphrase yet. Let the story go along and it might come to you what you'd like for your character to say.

Well, I must admit, "Hot Dog!" is a catchy phrase, and cute to boot because it's just two words. Most "catchphrases" are very , few words, like "What's Up Doc?" "You're Despicable!" "I Tawt I Taw a Putty Tat!," "Jinkies!",etc So, is Johnny going to say all of this, or just the last part? For what reasons will he be using this?
So, also with his last speech, does this mean he is never going back home, or want to become a normal mouse again? It doesn't seem he's worried at all about his "people" or how they are coping without him. Then again, this might not be a part of your idea, I don't know.

Well, it was Johnny just trying to be friendly and all.
In the following strip, you'll find out what his true feelings are about back home.

Do not readily answer my questions in the strip if this is not your intention. Follow the storyline as you have already outlined for it to go. I'm just asking hypothetical questions. The critiques given are just questions for you to answer but may not necessarily be a part of the story. I hope you're understanding what I'm saying.

It was my intention. I didn't want to spoil everything here.

Well, what does someone do when they see a camera for the first time, they stick their whole face in it.
