Because of too many people were ripping my head off over one thing or another and never had much in encouragement and support, to the point where I actually dreaded posting another item here on DeviantART because I know I'll be chewed out. Emphasis on the word dread. It got so much that I couldn't even bring myself to draw for a while. The last straw was when people demanded that I list the number of dates I had "With A Real Women" because I like seeing JB get hugged on-strip.
I dropped all desire to make another comic from that point on, and I doubt I'll be going back. That bridge got burned.

There's more to her character than meets the eye. Hopefully we'll see it on panel, rather than in post-production notes or a comment trail.
I also hoped you'd have used some of my revisions as well, but I suppose I can't ask for much, given how long it takes to get a response from you.

Well, it's been more than two months, and I was just getting into "Just get it fsking done" mode. Besides, you won't be seeing much of Syn's hair once she gets her headpiece in.
I'm sure that her hairstyle will be different once her human self is seen again.

So much for a month-long hiatus. Syn being reminiscent of Amber was only one of the things I revised for you; some of the dialogue needed revision and re-wording to better deliver their respective lines.
If you're not going to be a least a little more 'serious' about completing the comic (and want to use it to improve your storytelling) then let me know you don't need my help anymore; it doesn't seem to be having much of an effect as of late, especially when you don't visit your own forums for weeks on end.
For the love of everything that is good, I need you to spend a little more time with us on the comic if it's going to defy your track record and make it to the end. Taking almost three months from it -- especially when you've said you'd get back to it in December -- is a disservice to your readers; the comic would be better if you put the same effort into it that you apply to your DMing.

What is Syn's problem?!
Amber's is going to do something amazing with Johnny, and Syn just barges in with non-professional criticism?!
Syn ought to search for her inner child to understand the vision Amber is going to create.

Gotta see it from her angle. She thinks trying to keep it all sweet and kiddy is stupid. She thinks the group should
go more adult. She just see's Johnny and Amber as another attempt to keep it that way. Like what was stated by
dave she doesn't know amber yet and Johnny is just some kid in another of Alex's costumes.
