Steampunk!
I like how the picture is kind of simplistic, not overly detailed but the little that there is, is nice and crisp. I like the hook hanging from the ceiling in the left. Also the turquoise and copper make for a great contrast.

Is this drawing situated in a certain "universe" or is it something you just made? I'm asking because many people create worlds of their own and then fill them with characters and places as they go.

Well, it is situated in a dark steampunk world, where people are still making exploring expeditions and sometimes bring back strange creatures found during those expeditions... More or less that was the concept I had in mind while I was drawing this, but nothing more specific like character names and such...

A very well made piece here. I like the very construction paper like coloring. You give this an almost handrown magic to it with the usage of your very effective color scheme, and your wonderful designs. This reminds me of children's books from the 1910's. Very frightening, but very wonderful.

This is such a well made illustration because it makes you wonder what the story is behind it. This is mostly because the container is not placed in a proper lab but in a place filled with vines and weeds and that immediatly make an excuse for your mind to mould a background story for this one! Great use of texture and colors too

I must admit that I'm pleasantly surprised by your responce to this work of mine...I got really frustrated while working on this one cause it wasn't turning out how I want it to, although I'm still not sure how I wanted it to turn out...
