Have you ever felt so tired you couldn't create the things you love? I felt that way throughout the past year due to a lot of events that happened over time, and all at once. I celebrated a wedding with some friends last year who I've known for 20 years and for their wedding gift I offered to paint their portraits. They had two requests, "We want to be wizards, and we want a dragon!". The ideas started forming, but it still took me several months to fully realize how much creating art meant to me and to shake the mental cobwebs off. It took me a month, which isn't too much time in the big picture of things but it got me out of a funk that had been keeping me down for far too long.
