This is one of the most beautiful yet sad memorials I've seen. Called Bloodswept Lands and Seas of Red, this sea of hand-made ceramic poppies fills the Tower of London moat. The poppies honor Britain and the Commonwealth's war dead in a unique way because there is one poppy for each service member they lost.
