I swear to GOD I just got back from unsuccessfully trying to RENT a copy of Jesus Christ Superstar, which I have not seen since 1974 [link] (I settled for a used copy of Bullitt instead-- a movie that I swear I haven't ever seen...)

Pretty obsessed with the soundtrack in my youth=which is basicaly a Deep Purple album{Richie Blackmore/roger Glover} and ian Gillan as JC and Murray Head as Peter and Yvonne Elliman was the only singer left over from the movie..Rented it a few years back and its dated with its long shots and quick zooms=The hot Yvonee elliman singing near the fire is the only cinematic part worthy of rental.. [link] Just get the soundtrack-its probably at your local library=Thats what I do!
