Reached way out there for this one. I haven't used a digital art program since 1998, but since recently joining DA I felt like fiddling around. I wasn't too concerned about the details on this one, just enough to convey a cheap laugh.
made with: Gimp 2.6 photo manipulation and paint tools (mouse only-beware if i ever get my hands on a tablet)
main image: set model (including floors, walls, bed, peanuts)
model credit: All were properly eaten after the shoot.

Btw, I don't have a problem with the deviation that brought you here, and I think a lot of people get frustrated unnecessarily. I don't get bent out of shape over it like some. I know my work's decent, I know many factors go into dA popularity, and I believe art can be as simple as farting on a piece of toast. Please, don't think I'm a dick even though I am at first glance.
I just got to work on establishing myself...and people skills.

I know you don't have a problem with that Deviation. (Well, I figured anyway.) Your reply to the person who replied to you showed me that. I was just drawn to your page because I know how hard it is to get recognized. And I stayed there because I like some of your work. Believe me, if I didn't like your work, I wouldn't have stayed.

I really like this image because...it's just so interesting. I was trying to describe it to my friend, and the best I could come up with was, "It's like dark and weird, but funny and creepy but cute but morbid but also kind of charming...somehow."

I like your style man(read your journal entry). People ARE too uptight about the responses they get on their work. The old adage, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." is an oppression tool. It keeps the empowered in power. Feel free to say whatever you want on any of my pieces.
As for your questions: They have faces because i drew faces on them. They don't have teeth because I didn't draw teeth on them.

But thank you very much for the kind words, I only posted this as a journal entry because whatever his name was blocked me from posting anything on any of his works or pages. I guess you could call it a weak attempt at closure but the fact that you agree with me on how bitchy people can be is rather comforting. I wish people Wouldn't be so nasty to one another but theres not much we can do.
