I see it has been written profusely, but there is no other way to comment on this beautiful painting than to say how exquisitely you have rendered the mood and the oh so marvelous colors of the spot. The hues are just breathtaking. Humbled.

I frequently stand in that exact place looking out at the jetty. Were there about a hundred ducks pestering you for food?

This is beautiful. Everything was well planned out, while still giving room to the watercolors to do their job. The composition is well done, leading the eyes into the picture. It certainly glows with nostalgia.

Hi the effect of the wood is wonderful i can just imagine it being there and sitting quietly in the boat running my fingers through the water and the light so peaceful. There's a part of me that feels that imΒ seeingΒ the front of the boats varnished and iΒ almost want to breathe the air in to get a wiff of the varnish.
