I love the photo and it's really inventive. I understand why you chose the title you did but Deus Ex Machina being translated to "God in the machine" is actually a mistranslation. It's more properly translated to "Because god did it" and is used in writing to explain away sudden (often comedically bad) endings. The modern equal is "godmod"; a term used to describe someone in fiction doing something insanely impossible with no explaination. Another term associated is "Marysue." So when you hear Deus Ex Machina, it makes more sense to think of the comedically bad portrayal of Superman being needlessly almighty than to think of evil robot machines. :3

Well, I also thought it fitted the photo pretty well. The photo is more or the less in the middle of the transformation from man to machine.
