Description
In his infinite wisdom, Shinobi decided to take on a young adult red dragon named Flashfire. Having collected some really nasty poisons in his career, his first assault was poisoning the sleeping wyrm... it kind of worked... kind of. The original encounter involved wax string and poison too.Another personal piece depicting my old Dnd character. The dragon is derivative of the older TSR styled dragons. I know once I've watched Desolation of Smaug I'll regret the design choices. This is my first attempt at a dragon old school style - I'm going to post a closer shot of Flashfire.

I would have preferred Smaug look more like the images of him when the Hobbit was first published. This "realism" treatment for fantastical creatures never made sense to me.
Ah Flashfire, he was an awesome dragon probably our most memorable. Nice work mate.

Well, there's no beating WETA Workshop, but I like this one nonetheless.
So, how did Shinobi's encounter with the dragon end?

Yes, the Weta crew are awesome. Well, the dragon was a little angry, Shinobi ran for his life, then at some point later the poison actually killed the dragon... but the DM brought him back as a vengeful dracolich - life wasn't easy for old Shinobi...
