Grand Admiral Pellaeon seeing the New Repbulic's RZ-2 A-wing vest involvements that were made to the A-wing. Pellaeon started a compaction for a new interceptor. 1.5 years later at a remount testing ground the TIE Arrow along with 4 other test models was predestined to Pellaeon and three other Moffs. The designer Belnia Vane was the youngest preson there and was nervous as hell because of that. Moff Templar suggested that a mock dogfight and the prototype with the best performance would be the winner, Pelleaon fully agreed with him. During the test the Arrow preformed so well as a fighter interceptor Pellaeon start thinking that the Arrow would replace both the TIE fighter and the TIE interceptor and orded the TIE arrow into mass-production.
