Description
This is a Screen shot i took of my character in Fallout 3. Wearing The Winter Combat Armor from the Operation Anchorage VR Mission, and Using the Gauss Rifle you get after the simulation. true you are no longer in a winter environment but in my personal opinion it works splendidly in the urban environments of Down Town DC or the other building areas...and other than that i just think it looks bad ass!!!No, you dont get the winter armor after the VR mission, BUT! you can get it through pulling a....*cough cough*...cheat *cough cough cough*....
So here's how its done:
Type tilda (`) or you designated console key. Then type in the following:
player.additem 01003AF9 1 100 = Winter Combat Helmet
player.additem 01003AFC 1 100 = Winter Combat Armor
now you may ask what do these codes mean well the "player.additem" part tells the console what you want to do, the 8 digit code after pertines to the item you wish to spawn, and the "1" after that is the ammount you wish to spwan and finally the "100" is the state of repair it is in, "100" being the best condition....
In all Honesty this is as far as i go when it comes to cheating in game....unless i want to do cool things that i can share with friends......or if im board.... so sue me...

gauss rifle is a classic weapon, good damage and with a non degrading one it should be able to handle most things the wasteland throws at you.
i still prefer the backwater rifle though.

is it weird that the player's hand is clipping through the gauss rifle?

its just something that happens with the gauss rifle due to the 2 handed weapon animation. part of the rifles model clips through, but its only really visible from a couple angles.

oh, okay then. just thought it was a bit odd, and that i'd mention it.

And all the weaponry you had int VR,I myself got a Sniper rifle from it that NEVER degrades,I know it's weird, I used about 200 shots on it and it still stays at a one hundred.O.O

Thier's also a glitch to get the armor to for the systems, its pretty simple but just takes a little patience

cool but the original Gauss Rifle is kinda out dated since i found mod for a Gauss Shotgun and Gauss Machinegun

in the word of my friend ryane "overkill is a myth" but then agian this came from someone who is most likely to have a psycotic episode and go to the nearest belltower and start picking off people with a 50caliber Barrett M107 and in his words " aim for center mass" ... i think i need to invest in a panic room

Why Thanks, but in my experience, some of the more larger creatures of the capitol wastelands, the pit, and point look out seem to need a few more hits from it to stay down...
