How is that D3100 working out for you?
If you don't mind me giving a little critique, I would go for a much lower ISO when photographing children.
You can see the shadow under her hair is very grainy and it really makes the picture less soft, and that's what babies are. So I would never go above 800 ISO.
I would also have liked it better if the blanket she is laying on would cover the entire background.
You did a great job focussing on her eyes, I really love the lights in her eyes
