Another sort of Art Trade with the awesome , as always I loved drawing these two <3

I'm not sure I can call it an headcanon, but I like thinking that Febo can be all romantic and sappy with Apollo if he wants to, or if he's completely sure they're alone and nobody will hear his sweet and affectionate compliments. He's got a sort of dignity to protect, as he says, and isn't too fond of his beloved hugging him or staying too close to him in public. Not yet, at least.

Also, I quickly drew a Nightmare!Apollo design just because - the only difference is that the gradients on his mane, tail and wings are "reversed" (and he's dripping evil greenish magic from his horn, but anyway). Aaand I took the liberty of drawing both Apollo and Febo as little colts, maybe at the very beginning of their friendship when Febo was particularly enthusiastic and Apollo still a bit more reserved. He started developing a crush on him not much later <3

The drawing on the bottom right is kinda similar to the one on the top left in the other drawing (dawn22eagle.deviantart.com/art… ), I know, but I really wanted to draw them getting serious again. And it gave me the chance to draw more wings, fluffy even! :3
