it reminds me of a quilt my grandmother had hanging on her wall once. I used to love that quilt; so many beautiful memories...this is really, really beautiful. congrats on the DD--it's well deserved!

its very good, you must be talented, ive tried batik before, and mine just goes all lumpy, and spoldy, then all the ink runs and it just turns into a mess.
