Description
I tried using alcohol inks on polymer clay...I had no idea what I was doing LOL! The base of the ACEO is pearl white and I added drops of alcohol ink in a few colors and let them blend together. Then I added handmade leaves with a pretty pearlized green. Also included is an old jewelry pin, glass gems and a catseye cabochon.
As with all ACEO, it measures 2.5" x 3.5"

Really lovely Chris, the leaves frame it beautifully. It's hard to think of it being so tiny when it kind of looks like a mediium - sized painting

Thank you! I want to play more with these alcohol inks. I'm sure I'll discover new ways to use them. I think I saw someone use them to make Mokume Gane...gotta try that!

Eventually I want to create some Mokume Gane with them and some transparent clay and metallic leaf.

Wow, I LOVE how the pearlescent sheen of the base shines through the alcohol inks. They blended really well on the clay too. Alcohol inks are really fun to work with; I can't wait to see what else you make with them.

Yes, I was hoping for that effect and for once it worked! LOL I used a blending medium on the clay first and then dropped on the color.
