I found stupid that people are so gullible that they believe that addiction is an illness when in reality it is not. The reason for that is that a disease it's something undesirable or unfortunate happening that occurs unintentionally without a deliberate plan or cause, often with lack of intention or necessity and uncontrolled event. For example, you have a plan to go with your friends or family to Disney Land, but the next day you caught a cold or you got Cancer without by part of your vacation plans. In other words, a disease is something that happens without intention. Also, true diseases make your body to react against your will, so, an addiction it's not a disease because you can't pretend you're acting against your will. If the addicted person still has the will to talk, move, and to make their own decisions, then that person is not sick.

So if the person who has an addiction still has the will to talk, move, and to make their own decisions, then they are not sick, they are just pretending to be sick, so people can feel sorry for them and justify their shitty behavior. Another classification for a disease is that true diseases worsen if left untreated, true diseases are transmissible and contagious, and true diseases happen unexpectedly. So classify addiction as a disease is incorrect since addiction does not meet the criteria specified to be a disease, and it just another way for people to justify other people's misbehavior. Addiction is a self-acquired condition and is not transmissible, contagious, autoimmune, hereditary, degenerative or traumatic. Also, true diseases have medicines, but addictions don't have one.

The treatment for addictions consists of little more than stopping a given behavior or to talk about your issues. So classify addiction as a disease it just an excuse for not growing up. If you have a brain tumor, if you have cancer, then it is a disease, but addiction is not. Addiction is a behavior and no disease. So addicting people are not sick, they are just pretending to be sick so people can feel sorry for them and to justify their shitty behavior. So you people can't blame a nonexistent disease for the bad decisions of others or yourself. But if something I know about humanity is that they all love to blame something or someone else for their problems.

For them is never their fault is always something or someone else fault. So they blame video games or anything that is not even a sentient thing for their problems or blame someone else for their problems because in their minds it is never their fault. It is always someone or something else fault for their problems, they all are innocent, so they blame something or someone for their problems because they all want to play the innocent. This just shows how arrogant, narcissistic, sadistic, and self-righteous the entire human race is. It's become trendy among people to "blame the media" or the "devil" for everything bad that has happened in the world. I constantly hear people blaming the media, the devil or a nonexistent disease for everything bad in the world from racism to body image, issues to stress, or the bad behavior of others.

The only reason those people are getting away with it is that the majority of people are so gullible that they immediately believe them and because people have the mindset that humanity is innocent creatures when we all know it is not true.
