Description

I've been wanting to put this out for AGES but then my laptop go apeshit but now I finally node it. When I say AGES, I mean a few years I was planning this list. I started this list sometime when I discovered that everyone only care about female characters is about how hot or sexy they look when I find it stupid.

It is undoubted that all medias has plenty of awesome characters, but it's usually that the male ones that get all the attention, with some small exceptions. In this list, I have decided to give some credit to the great female characters in every medias.

So I will make this to tell my favorite female characters of all medias. Now I will judge this characters for their personality, their action, and their powers. So this list is my top 10 list of female characters.

The rules of this list are simples this list will only include females characters from the games series that I play and for anime and cartoon that I watch, also only one per franchise. Also I want to keep this list original as possible so Samus Aran, and Lara Croft are not in this list.

So now it's on to The Top Ten Greatest Female Characters Of ALL Media.

10. Mulan from Mulan: For all her clumsiness with makeup and dresses, Mulan is utterly fearless in the face of war, even though she doesn't realize it. The risk of death at the hands of the enemy is clearly not enough there's also the risk of her being discovered as a woman.

And you think she'd be in a constant state of terror, but she only really breaks down when abandoned in the middle of the mountains after she has been found out. Not for long though, as it's soon off to save the emperor, no questions asked, and then back to her family to carry on as normal.

This girl is the epitome of an inadvertent badass, she really is the bravest Disney character taking the role of both male and female. She risked her life to save not only her father but China.

Mulan is one of the greatest movies Disney has ever made and has one of the strongest messages. Also she is the first female animated character that I see when I was a kid I was impresses.

9. The Boss aka Voyevoda from Metal Gear Solid serie: Before Solid Snake, and before Naked Snake aka Big Boss, there was The Boss. No one in gaming history could match the courage, honor, strength, resolve, love, tragedy, or sacrifice of this legendary hero.

Is an heroic American martyr from the legendary Metal Gear Solid series who is applauded for developing a character with extreme courage, strength and bravery. She is a symbol of everlasting and indomitable sense of dignity that is not ever shaken by the blues of her gender despite her never ending feminine charm.

The Boss literally sacrificed her life for the service of her country and the love of those dearest to her. Her father was murdered by the assholes Philosophers, and later her infant son was taken from her by the same organization.

She was the greatest hero the United States had ever seen, but was the easiest target when they needed someone to take the fall for their failure. After the U.S. began to turn on its legendary warrior, she was ordered to assassinate her lover, the father of her child, whom had returned to his home in Russia in order to protect her.

Eventually becoming the scapegoat of the nation she served with unquestioning loyalty, the government finally devised a way to bury their secrets with her. After being falsely branded a mass murderer and traitor to the U.S., the government ordered her most precious disciple, Jack also know as John, aka. Naked Snake to take her out.

Even with the knowledge of everything that had transpired, The Boss faced the end with dignity, honor, and pride. After losing everything, we salute The Boss for her integrity, perseverance, and indomitable spirit in staying true to her beliefs, true to her cause, and true to herself.

-----------------------

8. Nala from The Lion King: Our first no-human female character is Nala enter to scene, she is a nod to tomboys everywhere as she can hold her own in a fight, and is not the least bit squeamish, even when it comes to exploring a graveyard an elephant's in her case.

As an adult, she has a strong sense of right and wrong, and makes no odds about having to leave behind her family to seek help, and then returning to Pride Rock to storm it with vastly outnumbered help.

It's also her rather than Simba that takes the initiative in continuing the circle of life, in perhaps the raunchiest scene Disney could get away with in a children’s film. I know it that company is evil.

-----------------------

7. Elena Fisher from Uncharted: We generally hold investigative journalists in high esteem regardless of their are of expertise, but it's Elena Fisher's skills off-camera that most impress us.

Anyone who knows the Uncharted name immediately ties the title and no-hold-barred action to leading man Nathan Drake, but those who have played the games know that Elena is no damsel in distress or 'voice of an earpiece,' but a full-fledged counterpart to Drake's bravado and confidence.

The adventure genre of both films and games is full of women who provided comic relief with a well-placed scream, or raised the stakes by being helpless, or kidnapped. Elena isn't the kind to 'wait here' regardless of where 'here' is and has proven she can be counted on in any situation.

And that is good for me.

-----------------------

6. Hinata from Naruto series: Hinata is a character with an incredible depth and complexity behind her. She struggles against her brother who has far superior skills despite his lower bloodline and who resents her for being born into a higher class of the family.

Her love to Naruto is heartbreakingly shown as he is oblivious to her feelings and she never works up the courage to tell him. That is, until she saves him from certain death in the greatest arc the episode had so far and confesses her love for him.

This amazing plottwist alone earns her the number 6-spot.

-----------------------

5. SHIHOUIN YOROUICHI from Bleach series: Now I give you one of the strongest, most intelligent and skilled female anime character loved by almost everyone in the entire anime world is Shihouin Yorouichi from Bleach or like I like to call her the crazy cat women in the shell.

Shihouin Yorouichi is the former captain of the Gotei 13 second division and the Onmitsukido. She is an excellent hand to hand combatant, one of the best in Soul Society, that she is rarely seen with a zanpakuto or sword.

She is known as the best user of the shunpo technique thus she is regarded as the fastest shinigami and was given the title the goddess of flash. Although not much emphasized in the series, Yorouichi has mastered the art of assassination during her days as 2nd division captain and as commander of the Onmitsukido.

Moreover, she is the only character in the Bleach series who is capable of transforming into a cat. Shihouin Yorouichi is definitely one of the coolest, and strongest female anime characters of all time!

-----------------------

4. Riza Hawkeye from Fullmetal Alchemist: There were a LOT of awesome female characters from FMA, which had a FANTASTIC character cast, but Hawkeye takes the cake.

Riza is an amazing, strong woman! She has a talent with guns as she keeps them on her all the time and never misses her target, which makes her quite a feared person in her universe.

She is loyal, admirable, and beautiful! Riza Hawkeye is awesome on more levels than you even know I mean she's a boss. Her seriously superb sniping skills can slice you up from several miles away, and she not afraid to get in enemies line.

She's also got a serious crush on the crazy Colonel, and likewise, has no problem doing anything, including dying for him, to see him succeed. I like seeing devotion in a character like her.

I didn't think it was possible for her to get any cooler, but then she pulled that shit on me. Colonel was awesome, Armstrong was a beast, but Riza was everything and more, and that’s why she get’s my number-4 spot.

-----------------------

3. Blaze the Cat from Sonic series: It was really close between Blaze and Amy, but Blaze just wins this one. The fact that she initially starts out as a loner, yet eventually she learns about having friends in people like Cream, Marine, and especially Sonic really shows that she knows that she can trust others, even if she doesn't want it.

Blaze is an interesting character to me, she has an interesting backround story and awesome skills and personality. She's not helpless and is always ready to fight. Even know she's the cold type, she still cares much for her world, and since she met Sonic for her friends.

First appearing on Sonic Rush, Blaze is still a relatively new character to the Sonic series, but it is her personality and unique style of game-play that wins her over for this Sonic fan.

As the guardian and princess of the Sol Emeralds, she suffers from a strict-improsed and anti-social discipline that is a perfect match for Sonic's free-willing and over-the-top personality.

Blaze live in the Sol Dimension as well as Sonic's counterpart. Her sole purpose is as guardian of the Sol Emeralds, equivalent to the Chaos Emeralds, from Eggman Nega, equivalent to you know who.

She once believe that her flame powers as a curse, but later comes to see them as a blessing after she takes Sonic's advice. This helps her discover the true meaning of friendship, and it is noticeable in the way that she becomes more gentle and amiable to others.

Sure sometimes she is quickly annoyed like in Sonic Rush Adventure to Marine, in my opinion, but still polite and careful, and also she's not a Mary Sue, because she also has her weaknesses like the fear of heights and her weakness to make friends(just like my self).

Just like Rouge, she just fights and doesn't just watch and cry. She kicks asses. I like all of the Sonic female characters(except Amy), everybody has it's own awesome skills. The first time I had played a Sonic game with Blaze was Sonic Rush and Sonic the Hedgehog, and I was so glad to see that she had an expanded story in the Sonic Rush series.

Aside from the time I have spent playing as Blaze, learning about her history and what makes her who she is today in the Sonic series is what makes her so unique and refreshing as an addition to the character roster.

Blaze is probably one of the most complex characters in the Sonic series. Her powers are strong and quite unique compared to the other characters. She also has one of the deepest background characters I think she'd be the runner up to Shadow.

Being bullied as a child for being different, she has a story that a lot people can really latch onto and relate to, which makes her so likable. She is definitely the best character and probably the most underrated of them.

This makes Blaze one of the most interesting characters in the Sonic series. It would be great to see Blaze become a mainstay like Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, and Dr. Eggman from now on. I think she deserves to get more attention and respect as a Sonic character.

What I like about her is that she was born with the power of pyrokinesis which is one of my favorite abilities and also many of her personality are the same as mine.

Blaze also appears to be an even balance of any character in the series and is quite elegant and formal than any other character.

All of these key factors about Blaze make her my #3 favorite character of the the entire media.

-----------------------

2. Cynder from The Legend of Spyro: Cynder the Dragoness like Blaze she is a well develop character too, she was born in the same clutch of dragon eggs that Spyro was in during the Year of the Dragon, making her the same age as the young purple dragon but one day the Dark Armies raided the Dragon Temple.

The Ape King, Gaul, took Cynder's egg, choosing her to be the dragon who would free the essence of the Dark Master, Malefor, from his prison in Convexity.

She was then corrupted by Malefor's dark powers, which transformed her into a monstrous and horrific, adult dragon brainwashed to do Malefor's bidding. Becoming the general of Malefor's army, Cynder led the Apes in the war against the Dragon race and the Guardians.

After Spyro useful free her but however, Cynder felt guilty for all the things she had done while under Malefor's control (jeez remind me of someone else). That guilt was what lead the black dragoness to leave the Dragon Temple one night to find her own place in the world, despite Spyro's pleas for her not to.

After she is free for Malefor's control Cynder personality become so great, she is cunning, intelligent, witty, resourceful, brave, spirited, determined, independent, and isn't afraid to speak her mind.

Despite she play her damsel-in-distress role in the previous two games, Cynder is far from passive and doesn't enjoy such roles of frail and weak heroines. Take for example, when Spyro was telling Cynder to follow his lead, she immediately responded in an indignant tone, "Why should you lead?".

Also Cynder is well develop character in the series, she is amazing in every respect as a female protagonist, she's smart, resourceful, determined, tough, and yet still feminine. Cynder is the most attractive no-human female in the universe.

Even though she can take care of herself better than most characters you never get the impression that she's invincible, instead you feel like she's a survivor winning the fight against Malefor through her kindness and loving for others.

She is one of the best examples of a female no-human heroine, especially in action or adventures games. She is a tough girl, which gives her the awesomeness most gamers look for in female heroines.

With dark-skills she can handle many different types of dangers situation, she's a girl that tough as nails, strong in body, and yet still has everything that's attractive about a girl being a girl.

Out of all female Spyro characters, Cynder will be the one you will care about the most. But despite I like her there is another one that is number one.

-----------------------

1. Lightning from Final Fantasy 13: I've never been a hardcore fan of the Final Fantasy series, primarily because I've never been able to climb over the steep barrier that is the turn-based JRPG.

But even I, a lowly Final Fantasy non-convert, can respect the feminine powerhouse that is Lightning. For Final Fantasy XIII, Lightning is not only beautiful, but she's very strong as she's an athlete and warrior not to mention kind of like cloud.

Like Blaze the Cat, Light start as a antisocial person who starts off her journey as cold and merciless and kind of emo person but under the influence of her companions, she starts to open up more.

She's also the opposite of a girly girl, very serious and values personal space. Light has the honor of being one of the original badass women of Final Fantasy. She's the embodiment of feminine power.

Since she has this independence in battle, she's very graceful in her movements, but she's very powerful and she's very speedy." like Samus Aran. She's an entirely different kind of female in the Final Fantasy universe.

While she may not be as strong as Tifa on hand-to-hand combat or strong as Sephiroth, she has a sense of determination mashed with a strong persona that allows her to accomplish innumerable obstacles that cross her path.

In that sense, the creators have portrayed her exactly as they had planned, and that what giver her the number #1 spot of this list.

Now I know that there are a lot of people who are probably flame me now for my choices on this list, but that's because it's my list. What's your favorite female character? and remember, you can't judge a character by their voice. Seriously, you can't.

I know why I'm using a hooters meme list? Well is the only one I could find. Blank meme > acaciathorn.deviantart.com/art…=

My realization about just how beautiful Hinata is actually came from comparing her post-time skip pic with Sakura and Ino's. While the latter 2 were very pretty, they just seemed...incomplete; like they somehow hadn't reached their full beauty potential (I blame dieting to get Sasuke's attention from fanon). Hinata on the other hand was one of the most beautiful beings I have EVER seen grace an anime (and now I, a straight girl, sound like I'm crushing on her).
