Ok so most of what I've been doing as far as comic work had been working out the details of my story and how things play out -as well as how I want to present them. So to be able to do that I had to sit down and decide how many Bantie pack members I wanted (how many female - how many male) who's going to die in the tak over who isn't extra. And to help me with this I've drawn up about 11 so far of these new ref sheets. (mostly male Bantie pack members. I'll be posting one every so often to slowly circulate them up here on dA though some of them will stay with me as they have some spoilers hidden in them. Almost everyone got an updated design, most though are like Bangle small changes to make them look more like their natural born species.I've come up with a MUCH faster but less revealing story beginning that I'm still tweaking for bugs. I'll let you know when I start sketching. You're all going to laugh though because its extremely similar to how I first started this comic quiet a bit back.
Only with more flashbacks leading up to that page.
Most pages after that are going to stay the same (with minor fixer ups since they're out dated to my current art) So I can start back up with where I left off and show you how the take over of the Bantie pack happens.
Thank you to everyone that had stuck with me for so long, and I apologize for not being the most orderly comic artist on dA.

I just feel the need to say this: You really need to slow the fuck down and scrap your entire comic. You seem to have a story you want to tell, but goddammit the sheer amount of times you've "restarted" or just inserted random pages at the beginning or the end is just ridiculous. Your comic so far is just a haphazard mess of animals talking. We don't even know who the protagonist is and you've restarted this thing like what--4 times?
Why a wolf comic? Just why?There are much smarter and cooler animals out there than wolves. I don't care if they can transform, it's still stupidly cliche. All of them seem to be either stoically quiet, raging badasses, or goofballs. Nice character variety there. If you think that the fact you have an alligator, stag and otter gods makes your comic more variable, it doesn't. It's a cheep attempt to be a more varied artist.
Oh and the war between them. If only I can remember how many wolf comics have meaningless wars between packs. Let's count of some famously bad ones:
-"Twilight Spirits" by *blueshinewolf
-"Black Blood Alliance" by *KayFedewa
-"The Great Separation" by *xAshleyMx
-*TheRoguez 's first run through of "The Rogues"
-"Over the Mountains and Far Away" by *Skailla
-"Wild Fangs" by *Tenaga (this one is between wolves and anatomically horrendous big cats but the cliche-ness is still there)
-"Sealed Hearts" by *LordVepar (sparklelions versus disproportionate hyenas. Still stupidly cliche)
...and the list goes on. You have wonderful artwork. Why the fuck are you screwing it up with such a bad story?
I can't even comment anymore on your story simply becasue I have no clue what the fuck it is. All I know is: One wolf screwed up the past, Gods fucked over all transforming animals as a result, there's fight between two wolf packs, Nightingale or whatever the hell her name is get's forcibly knocked up, she runs away with bastard child of a pup. The story is like a badly written fanfiction.
Point is, stop, take a deep breath, and plan your comic out. It's clear you failed to do that so many times before and it seems as if you're going to do it again.

ok first off I do agree with most of what you say.
My comic is unorganized, and underdeveloped, and appears to be extremely generic along with most of the other comics displayed on this site. I understand that
I post my art here for feed back, not for people to tell me they if they like it or not.
And I've been trying to use that feed back to try out new things and develop the story more.
Most of the things you've actually mentioned about my story has been nixed BECAUSE ppl expressed disklike towards it.
You asked why wolves. I've asked my self this MANY times. WHY is that of all the animals I choose for a fair section of my story to be about?
Because they are a pack unit
Because they can be seen as a threat as well as a pest to be killed by humans.
Why not have them as human?
I seriously considered this for about a month.
I ened up nixing it because humans were effected by the antagonist to a point where they would recognize him if he showed up at in one of their cities.
I needed a social animal that was a new group to be added to the mix, and wolves just seemed to match the best for the location and story.
No mater what animal I use I will be "copying" someone.
I'd rather be using an animal I personally like and can more easily work with then trying to force another animal to work while having people patronize me for it.
If you decide to keep watching me and if I can manage to get it all in order, you'll see that most of the story has no wolves in it. Mostly humans, and creatures I made up along with a few mundane animals.
As far as the war. YES I agree this is over done BUT
all stories need a conflict. All stories need to be going against something and I'm sorry but man against nature or self just isn't my style.
I LOVE war stories. Especially World War 2 which is what my war has been loosely biased on.
I am sorry if you disagree with my comic or think it should be scrapped, but I have spent far too much of my life developing it and hearing too many encouraging words from rl ppl (who have actually heard the summery of the whole story and are helping me write it now) to give up on it now.
Feel free to critique and give feed back to any more of my work as thats why i put it on this site, but please reframe from telling me to scrap my work.

If someone says they don't like your comic, that can be considered feedback. If you can question them further and actually ascertain WHY they don't like it, then you make realize something's wrong and try to fix it.

African Wild Dogs (just as an example) are also a pack unit and have also been seen as a threat against humans. Even more unjustly as humans. As far as I know, there haven't been any cases of Painted Dogs attacking humans.
And what is it about the antagonist that would make wolves not recognize him? Can he transform as well? If so, wouldn't his scent give him away?

I actually stopped watching after your 3rd rehash of your comic becasue it was just getting annoying. I have been lurking infrequently though and will continue to do so.
If the comic mostly feature humans, why not show us some character sheets or concept art of said humans?
And btw, I never said you NEEDED to do humans. I can't remember mentioning humans at all in my original comment. I just suggested a different animals.

Where did I say you needed to do man against nature. I said make you story less cliche, work on organization and characterization. Man against nature is one of the most overdone, and retarded concepts out there. I would NEVER suggest that.

I said scrap the comic pages. Not scrap all of your work. The reason I said scrap it is becasue your current mish-mash of whatever the hell you call your comic is haphazardly put together. You need ORGANIZATION. You lack that and your comic shows it. Don't scrap all your notes, concepts, and artwork or whatever the hell you thought I said, just try and organize your comic better.

If an artist can't take/apply critiques to their work then they will never learn/improve on what needs to be fixed - or it'll just take them longer to figure it out. Fresh eyes always help when the artist has been looking at the piece non-stop.
I never really thought of doing painted dogs because I've always been fascinated with the middle ages -though once more so many stories have been biased in that era. It would definitely pose an interesting twist having the story instead biased in Africa. I will have to think this over, thank you for the suggestion.
You mentioned why the antagonist wouldn't be recognized by wolves -the species of shifters I've tried to develop are a fairly intelligent race, the majority of which believe it should be them not humans running the show. Wolves not being of the same intelligence as well as single formed, would be seen as inferier pry or pests. So they would have been left alone for the most part in his attempted take over.
Another thing you've asked is why no concepts on the human characters. This is mainly due to the fact that I'm still learning how to draw them, and have not even begun to master creating individual human faces besides those from photos, which i mess up royally on most occasions. I'd like to wait till I know a bit more about humans and feel more comfortable drawing them and their faces before I start trying to draw the characters i see in my head.
I appreciate you stopping by once in a while even though you no longer watch me, and I really appreciate you actually speaking up and telling me why essentially you unwatched me. I will definitely think over everything said and do some research on painted dogs and their locations.

what kind of fans would we be if we left everytime you did somthing we didn't like. Political fans thats what. as for me I don't yet consider my self a fan, more like a dabbler who likes your art style. Do you honestly want a Higher Functioning Autistic person, who can't stay on subject and makes confusing jokes. for a fan. well do ya.

8D Bangle is my all-time favorite character. His design and personality are both so cute, I must draw him when I have time for personal art and gifts ^^ What a pretty boy
