THIS is Justin OuO He's my new Jaguarundis character ^^ and I hearts him and all his pretties

He's my extremely near sighted patient, helpful, loving, 6 toed, bird's worse enemy, wondering, scholar ^^

Anyone who can guess the inspiration of the hood pattern can pet him.

His name was going to be Bartholomew BECAUSE ITS AN AWESOME NAME .... but the nick name Bart is not in my opinion ._. at least not for a scholar like him

So I got Justin cause I like that name, but now I'm thinking I'm going to change it so Justin is one of his nicknames, and have his Actual name be Jonathan ... cause that is yet another pretty fancy scholar name like Bartholomew, and it has nicknames i like ^^

The 6 toes idea came from my finical aid person at my school telling me about how his 6 toed cat could actually use his paws like hands

the bottles were inspired by

The idea of having the hood was from me as I've always been fascinated by things like it, but I wanted it to be functional and elegant looking so for that I looked at some of the things did with her characters

The leaves are from a gorgeous collage my friend put together for me of the fall leaves

the feather is from my feather collection its a Golden Finch feather if you are wondering =]

Design pattern on the coat inspired by the chantery in Dragon age

BIO:

In his very early years of existence Justin found life almost unbearably hard and cold. He was always hungry, tired, and sick from not being able to take care of himself. His parents had shun him at a very early age, thinking that because of his sight issues it wasn't worth their time to teach him anything. Try as he might to earn their approval they never showed him a lick of care besides his mothers milk. Not long after switching over to meat he left home to live on his own. But this would soon prove to be a big mistake, for he didn't know the first thing about hunting, and unable to even see if danger was near.

He was on the brink of death and way past the stage of depression when finally someone showed him some kindness. A funny little white female with a pure soul started leaving him food, and turtle shell filled with water. At First Justin thought he was just dreaming. But every night she would come, her white pelt glowing even in the darkness of his vision, and she would always leave something for him.

Soon Justin's health returned to him, and his curiosity was at its peak. He wanted to know who this female was, but as soon as he had recovered she had vanished. Not letting this dismay him Justin fought hard to follow her scent, and the trail she had left. But her trail was not simple, her prints in the dirt where often so different that Justin wondered if his vision had completely gone and he was just seeing things. Though he also began to notice that her scent would often change as well, not completely but enough that it made him wonder. Though he pressed on, not allowing himself to give up on her.

After a 3 days of tracking he was finally able to find her, the white beauty of his dreams. She smiled down at him and immediately showed him such kindness that he only assumed would have come from a life long friendship. She would teach him wondrous things about the world, finding little trinkets for him so he could always see them. It was probably the happiest he had ever been in his life.

Though something still gnawed in the back of his mind. The tracks he had followed, and even now her scent would change on occasion when she was out of his line of vision. One day he worked up the courage to ask her and she smiled down at him patiently.

"It would be better if I just showed you," she murmured sweetly. Justin waited with concealed excitement as he waited to see what he had thought for so long was true. In a few priceless moments her Jaguarundis form melted away to reveal a little white fox with pink eyes and nose, just like her other form. He smiled at her a purred at his satisfaction of figuring out her secret. At first she looked scared he would reject her, but her fears where swept away as he rubbed his head into her soft side affection, and with out a flicker of hesitation.

Latter he learned that she too had been dismissed from her kind, for her startling white coat of all things. She told him that her kind too had thought she would make a poor hunter at best, her prey being able to spot her a mile away. Justin snorted at the comment and told her they were just jealous of her good looks. She smiled fondly at him, and made him promise that they would prove their families wrong, that they would become the best they could possibly be.

And together they did, Justin learned to sence when prey was close, rather than see it, and the white female that he had since learned was named Joyce, learned how to conceal her self from prey. They began to put together a field guild of everything the knew about the world around them, eager for more knowledge. Joyce even managed to learn from a couple of human travelers how to sow and dye fabric. When they had known each other for 4 years she presented him with a hand made cloak, with pockets and hocks for storing items such as their Felid guild. He loved her for it and thanked her for the next week.

In their 5th year of knowing each other they mated and tried to start a family. They were both so proud, and eager parents. But one thing neither one of them ever bothered to learn was how to defend themselves. A few days before Joyce was suppose to give birth, a bear came into their territory. Unable to shift, or fight Joyce was no match for the bear, and Justin was too small and incapable of fighting that the bear merrily swatted at his head -causing the 3 scars around his neck- and he passed out against the ground. The last thing he remembered of the white beauty that had showed him so much kindness was her screams as she and the unborn cubs were mauled by the bear.

You know what I find incredibly fascinating? The entire time I was writing that I had NO clue what I was going write next, my fingers just kept dancing along my keyboard and words kept appearing in front of me. I had no idea that Joyce was an albino until the words appeared on the screen in front of me, had NO idea Just had almost had kids, or that he was basically shunned by his parents. I swear this character and his story, I didn't create it, it created itself, and then allowed me the privilege of portraying it. And I will always love him for giving me that privilege, just like all the other characters that I own that have done this to me.

And I am VERY tempted to create a short comic for this guy, because as I was typing this it was quiet literally like a film in my head, complete with sound, music, lighting, speech... EVERYTHING it was SOOOO weird ....

Anyway thought you'd guys get a kick out of that little tidbit
