Gorgeous work, and in two hours to boot? All I can say is "wow." Lovely composition, great angle, the scene tells you the story right away and I love the shock of orange on the left amid the cooler tones in the rest of the image.

I love the artwork, but I'd like know ... is there a growing market for speed art? I realize it shows a unique ability for product, but seriously, are there company's out there hiring for a person to produce this kind of qualityΒ in a wiz-bang hurry?

Speed arts aren't made for companies or anything, its just a way of showcasing how the design/painting was made in fast-forward mode. It does help you get a bit more exposure though!

Sort of bragging rights. I bet though, if an art developer for top name game or movie houses were to consider conceptual speed art as a viable tool for their industry, then the game would be on for speed artists.

I mean, "conceptual speed art" is basically what concept art is, except you're doing it several times or at least several from several thumbnails. Speed painting like this is mainly used as practice though, not to put in your portfolio or for your main "gig" so to speak.

Needless to say, I've got nothing but admiration for those who do it so well.

Really like how you used a rule of thirds composition accompanied by the complementary colors of orange and blue to establish a crisp clear focal point. Very well planned
